There are different types of tie ropes as a method of supporting safety nets to permanent or temporary structures, as well as a specific type of rope for joining different safety nets in order to prevent falls between different nets.
Coupling rope (Type O) for safety nets
The coupling ropes are used to join different safety nets for any of the systems, be it for type V, S, U, T or formwork safety net system.

Tie rope (Type G) for safety nets
The Type G tie rope is a rope specially designed for tying safety nets type V to the supporting structure, known as the gallows-type davit.

Tensile strength: 20 kN.
Diameter: 12mm.

Tie rope (Type Z) for safety nets
Tie rope Type Z is used as a lanyard for Type V safety nets and Type S horizontal safety nets, provided it is used with a double load leg.

Raw material: 100% high tenacity polypropylene with additives for protection against ultraviolet radiation.
Tensile strength: 15 kN.
Diameter: 10mm.

Tie rope (Type M)
It is used as a lashing element for the type S system of horizontal safety nets.
We have two types, classified according to their composition:
Raw material: 100% high tenacity polysteel with additives to protect against ultraviolet radiation.
Raw material: 100% polyamide 6 high tenacity.
Technical characteristics:
Tensile strength: 30 kN.
Diameter: 12mm.
Anti UV treatment: 300 kY.
Presented in coils of 315 meters (polysteel) and in coils of 200 meters (polyamide)
Rope Ties - 2.5meters
At Visornets we offer the possibility of providing our customers with polysteel or nylon rope ties cut into 2.5 meter ends, so that the purchase is cheaper and installation is easier.
Rope ties are used during the installation of safety nets for added strength and security. As a general rule, these ropes are placed in each corner and every 2.5 meters around the edge of the net, fixing it to the structure that supports it.
